Although Thomas Beale is listed on the Founders Monument in Hartford, and had an allotment of lands in Hartford, he never moved there, remaining in Cambridge, Massachusetts where he lived since his emigration in 1634, and land sequestered for him in Hartford (one acre, two roods, and twelve perches on the east side of the Great River) was given to John Marsh before the land inventory of February 1639-40 was written.
