The Founders of Hartford
Bartholomew Greene, Cambridge, freeman, May 14, 1634 ; came from England the year before, and died the
year following, while making preparations to remove with the major part of his neighbors to Conn., as is said ; his
land in Hartford was forfeited, and allotted to John Crow. His widow and ch. remained in Cambridge, where the
widow, Elizabeth, d. Oct. 28, 1677, aged 88.
